OPL Bengaluru Edition

The Outperformers League has been constantly evolving its format to meet changing & different needs of the various stakeholders. This time round, the OPL encountered an interesting edition of its seminars on the 20th of February, 2015 at Hotel Lalit Ashok in Bengaluru. The topic of the OPL was sharply focused to improve connect with the School Fraternity. 137 representatives comprising of School Trustees, Regulatory Bodies, Officials, Transport Managers and School Bus Financiers attended this edition.

Mr. Rakesh Maru, Sr. General Manager (Sales) – LCV and Buses, gave an introductory presentation on Mahindra Truck and Bus Division and School bus segment. His passionate talk connected well with the audiences. Mr. P B Vardarajan, Area Business Manager, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. - Truck and Bus Division followed up with a detailed presentation introducing the audience to the concept of an OPL. The mere thought of a corporate engaging audience for benefits beyond business captured the imagination of the audience at large. The presentation spoke about the impact that the seminar had on its participants, both on the professional and personal front.

As the day progressed, a presentation on Importance of School Bus Road Safety was introduced to the audience by the next speaker Expert on Urban Transportation - Mr. Sudhir Badami. He drew the attention of the audience to an issue pertinent to all; of that of school bus fatalities. He concluded by throwing some light on the various features of a safe and comfortable school bus.

Mr. Raja Gopalan– GM, Rajalakshmi Automobiles concluded the seminar with a vote of thanks.

The seminar also saw the launch of the COSMO BS IV school bus. The occasion was apt for new customers to take their journeys to the next level. Keys were hand over to officials from Spring Field School School, Bangalore at the seminar.

The comfortable COSMO 17 seater BS4, COSMO 25 seater BS3, COSMO 32 seater BS4, COSMO 40 seater BS3 were on display for the customers to have a closer look.

The seminar build a connect as the day progressed. While the session around school bus safety focused on the importance and the moral obligation of the stakeholders to provide safe transport to school kids, the preview of the larger picture gave the stakeholders, a belief in the growth story of their respective businesses. This unique initiative for the school fraternity leading in close interaction and knowledge sharing was appreciated by the attendees.
