COSMO – LWB Version and COSMO School Bus – BS IV Version. With this expo, the COSMO School Bus - BS IV Version has been unveiled to the customers. These vehicles not only come with enhanced focus on fuel efficiency & safety, but also with good looking exterior and ergonomic designs. The event was held at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi - NCR, India from the 15th to the 17th of January, 2015. Our stall was inaugurated by Mr. Ambuj Sharma, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries, along with Mr. Vishnu Mathur, Director General, SIAM & Mr. Sugato Sen, Deputy Director General- SIAM. The Mahindra stall was also visited by Union Transport Minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari & Mr. Sajnay Bandhopadhyaya - Joint Secretary of Road Ministry Transport & Highways along with many other bureaucrats from Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.

MTBL At The Auto Expo 2014

On the 27th of January 2014, a media interaction was held at the Chinchwad office where prominent publications were invited to share Mahindra Truck and Bus’ plans for the Auto Expo 2014 which is set to mar its presence in Delhi.

Mr. Rajan Wadhera, Director and Head of Mahindra Truck and Bus and Mr. Nalin Mehta, MD and CEO, Mahindra Truck and Bus met up with journalists from various publications like Business Standard, Times of India, Hindu Business Line, Financial Express and many more which have always been leveraged by Mahindra Truck and Bus to share a business update and also to reaffirm Mahindra Truck and Bus‘s commitment towards commercial vehicles business in India.

The rationale behind the Auto Expo 2014 is to showcase a large range of products, product attributes and aggregates being offered by Mahindra Truck and Bus in a unique and innovative display. The TRUXO 37 and TRACO 49 in the HCV range, the TORRO 25 Tipper, Loadking ZOOM Container Truck and Tipper are among the few that would be showcased. Moreover, the Mahindra Truck and Bus division is expected to offer a more comprehensive range of world class products.

TRACO 49 tractor trailer is now going to be available with 210 and 260 HP powerful MPOWER engines and would also feature a best-in-class cabin especially designed for longer hauls. It is specially crafted for load applications like containerized heavy duty loads, cement, steel, over-dimensional cargo, heavy machinery amongst others. The design of the product is specifically to deliver superior fuel efficiency without compromising on power and ruggedness.

TRUXO 37, known for its optimal power and superior fuel economy, is the new rigid, multi-axle truck that Mahindra Truck and Bus proposes to launch in due course. This will also provide great value and better earnings to its customers.

Addressing the media on the plans for Auto Expo 2014, Rajan Wadhera, Chief Executive - Technology, Product Development & Sourcing & Director and Head Mahindra Truck and Bus, said, “We are fully committed to making substantial investments in new products and upgrading our existing products in order to enhance our presence as a formidable player in the Indian Commercial Vehicle space. The Auto Expo will provide us with an opportunity to do this through our varied product displays. In addition, our plans to enter new segments like light commercial vehicles and manufacturing commercial vehicles besides completing and upgrading our existing range are also on a firm footing”.

Today the company services over 1 lakh light commercial vehicles trucks and buses in India and more than 9,000 heavy commercial vehicle trucks on the rugged Indian roads with a network that has 1,856 touch points that includes 59 3S CV dealerships, 334 authorized service points and the spares network reaches 575 retail points to further improve the reach on important trucking routes across the length and breadth of India.

The growing Mahindra Truck and Bus, has reaffirmed its intent on investing another Rs. 300 crores to explore new product lines light commercial vehicles, intermediate commercial vehicle and manufacturing commercial vehicles segments besides another Rs. 200 crores investment in strengthening current product line-up of trucks and buses including refurbishing existing light commercial vehicles.

In tune with its commitment towards the business and customers, Mahindra Truck and Bus have launched several pioneering initiatives such as the 5-years or 5 lakh Km Warranty, which is transferrable and an industry first. For tippers, the company has launched an on-site warranty and has also rolled out an attractive AMC package. Offers such as up to 100% finance on Chassis and up to 5 year loan tenure is also part of this initiative.

Mahindra Truck and Bus UNVEILS Integrated Trucking Solutions at the 12th Auto Expo

Mahindra Truck and Bus participated in the Auto Expo 2012 with an elaborate stall that featured five of our light commercial vehicles trucks, the new Cosmo Bus, a display for the m-POWER engine and another engine-cum-transmission exhibit.

Our theme for the exhibition was, ‘Integrated Trucking Solutions from Mahindra Truck and Bus. In line with the same, we showcased our trucks for various applications which will provide customers with ready-to-use trucks of high quality. Overall, it was a very successful presence for us at the Auto Expo 2012. We progressed logically from the unveiling (at the Auto Expo 2010) to messaging like ‘Full range Player’, ‘Commercially launched’, ‘Nearly 3000 trucks on road’, ‘Over 5 Crore kms behind us’, ‘Over 940 service points’ – all of which are no mean achievements for a new brand in about two years of market presence. Our presence at the Auto Expo clearly conveyed to thousands of customers in trucking, light commercial vehicle load and bus segments that Mahindra Truck and Bus is a serious player with the ability to follow up on its promises and commitments. And that it is intent on seriously challenging the existing players who have dominated the industry for decades.

Mahindra Truck and Bus TRACO 49 & TRACO 40 trucks unveiled at the 10th Auto Expo

Mahindra Truck and Bus, the commercial vehicle venture by Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) unveiled its TRACO 49 and TRACO 40 trucks for the Indian market at the 10th annual Auto Expo held at New Delhi.

These trucks are true high performance machines, designed, developed and tested under demanding Indian conditions. Powered by the revolutionary m-POWER engine, a proven performer for power and fuel efficiency, their spacious, ergonomic design coupled with a better power to weight ratio and a higher payload capacity makes them best suited to the task of delivering cargo faster.
